Cafe Associate

Position Summary

Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams; educates other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicates effectively with the team; and works flexibly to meet business needs.

What you'll do...

• Be a Team Member: Prepares food according to specifications; plans future and mass productions; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and cold chain compliance; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution.
• Be an Expert: Utilizes digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and engage associates; leverages handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, ordering, receiving, training, and product quality; adapts to new tools and encourages their use.
• Be a Techie: Drives area performance; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control standards; eliminates waste; provides member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs; assists with purchasing decisions, payment types, locating merchandise, and resolving issues.
• Be an Owner: Advocates for the brand; develops, influences, and inspires others in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented manner; understands and addresses roadblocks; assists in training.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards; implements related action plans; uses the Open Door Policy; adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Acknowledges the need to complete all job-required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.
• Preferred Qualifications: Food Safety Certification, Food Service Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
