Job Duties
- Provide expert technical support and deliver effective solutions that enable customers to address complex design challenges using Cadence’s software portfolio.
- Develop high-quality CAE models to support Proof-of-Concept engagements, demonstrating robust pre- and post-processing capabilities.
- Conduct software evaluations, benchmarks, and in-depth technical discussions to improve customer productivity and decision-making.
- Deliver on-site and virtual training sessions, technical presentations, and product demonstrations to support sales and customer success initiatives.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge collateral to support customer education and self-service adoption.
- Proactively identify opportunities to expand and proliferate Cadence product usage within customer environments.
- Communicate customer requirements, feedback, and insights from support engagements to R&D and Marketing teams to influence product direction and continuous improvement.
The Ideal Candidate
- Should have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Have 3-5 years of experience in CAE model development and finite element analysis using industry-standard solvers such as MSC Nastran, LS-DYNA, Abaqus etc.
- Have hands-on experience with ANSA and META in aerospace, automotive, turbomachinery, or marine applications.
- Have knowledge of additional pre/post/solver technology workflows is an added plus.
- Have experience with scripting languages such as Python; demonstrated scripting capability is a strong plus.
- Prior OEM product development experience is highly desirable.
- Have strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Have high attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Be a proven team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to propose and implement process improvements in an evolving environment.
- Be willing and able to travel and work at customer sites throughout North America.
