About the role

The Engineer reports to the Director of Engineering and will be responsible for new product launches, VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering), assistance with quality, purchasing, and customer manufacturing. Successful engineers are detail-oriented, organized, and communicate clearly both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Deviation Management for numerous customers, including submission of all paperwork to customers and managing print relationships between customers and suppliers
• Support the commodity team with supplier changes by ensuring all prints are correct and up to date from customers, and communicating throughout the implementation process to answer all engineering questions
• Process engineering change notices from customers
• Drive processes and performance toward company targets and objectives
• Provide detailed monthly reports of project status, issues, obsolescence, deviations, cost savings, and areas of optimization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
• Five or more years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment

• Demonstrated experience with Health, Safety, and Quality initiatives
• Dedicated to providing an exceptional customer experience

Pay

$85,000–$102,000 per year
