About the role
The Cadet Engagement Coordinator supports the Alumni Support department’s Cadet Engagement Program. Key responsibilities include planning, organizing, and executing high-impact engagement events and meetings that strengthen community ties and advance WPAOG’s mission.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and execute high-impact engagement events and meetings that foster meaningful connections between WPAOG and the Corps of Cadets, their parents, and surviving spouses.
- Support cross-departmental collaboration on shared events.
- Develop event budgets, reserving venues, initiating contracts, and internal paperwork.
- Act as the point of contact during engagement events.
- Gather data, track expenditures, analyze cadet feedback, and recommend new engagement opportunities aligned with WPAOG’s strategic priorities.
- Support annual initiatives such as R-Day, the Cadet Basic Training BBQ, and the annual cadet survey.
- Prepare materials and agendas for internal Engagement Committee meetings and ensure coordination among WPAOG departments in support of mission-related programming.
Requirements
- Highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to lead meetings, create agendas, and document meeting outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, initiative, and a team-oriented mindset.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- A deep appreciation for the values and mission of West Point.
- Professionalism and enthusiasm needed to represent WPAOG.
Skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with West Point and the Corps of Cadets.

Schedule
