About the role

Cadence Academy Preschool is seeking dedicated educators to join our team. We offer a supportive, faith-based environment where children are nurtured and prepared for future success.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Greet children and families daily
• Recognize and respond to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs
• Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership
• Follow Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual
• Manage, document, and escalate child behaviors
• Adhere to Cadence Education policies and procedures
• Participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years old
• Flexible schedule
• Previous experience as a preschool teacher preferred
• Classroom management skills preferred

Qualifications

• English reading, writing, and speaking abilities
• Knowledge of safety procedures, including accountability, food allergy processes, and Safe Sleep practices
• Collaborative working ability
• Experience in an early childhood or group care setting preferred

• Ability to follow safety procedures
• Ability to work collaboratively
• Effective communication skills
