About the role
Hansen, Allen & Luce (HAL) is a trusted leader in water resources engineering with over 50 years of experience. We are currently seeking talented professionals to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Manage and design water system infrastructure projects including pump stations, well houses, pipelines, and drinking water storage facilities.
- Work independently and productively in a collaborative setting to aid in team building through mentorship.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients and/or regulating agencies.
- Study, plan, and design municipal projects utilizing computer programs including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS.
- Experience with hydraulic models such as AutoCAD Storm and Sanitary Analysis, SWMM, EPANET, and related programs.
- Analyze and interpret engineering data and prepare design calculations.
- Prepare specifications and assist with bid documents for construction of municipal projects.
- Demonstrate excellent technical and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
- Completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Utah or the ability to obtain one.
- Minimum of 7 years of related project experience.
- Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems.
- Working knowledge of building codes, NEC, and applicable electrical codes.
- Project management experience.
- Revit experience is a plus.
