What You’ll Do
- Drafting and Design Support
- Create and revise drawings to support customer requirements, internal assembly needs, and proposal development
- Support engineering and project teams with drafting updates throughout the project lifecycle
- Help maintain drawing accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal standards
- Engineering Documentation and Review
- Review internal designs for fit, interference, constructability, and bill of material alignment
- Review third-party and vendor drawings for accuracy and conformance to project requirements
- Support the development and maintenance of parts lists, BOMs, and related technical documentation
- Aid with technical drawing revisions and coordination between engineering, fabrication, and project teams
- Customer Document Submittals
- Create, organize, and maintain customer-facing drawing packages and document submittals
- Support the preparation of quality packages, spare parts documentation, vendor documentation, and other required deliverables
- Track revisions and ensure document packages are complete, accurate, and submitted on time
- Project and Team Support
- Provide drafting support for active projects, proposals, and internal initiatives
- Communicate project status, drawing issues, and documentation needs to engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement of drafting standards, templates, and documentation workflows
- Support overall team goals and collaborate across departments to deliver quality outcomes
What You’ll Bring
- Experience with CAD drafting in an industrial, manufacturing, controls, or engineering environment
- Proficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks, EPLAN, or similar platforms
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to document accuracy
- Familiarity with BOMs, drawing revision practices, and document control processes
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree, technical training, or equivalent hands-on experience in drafting, design technology, or a related field
- Experience supporting instrumentation, controls, panel fabrication, or process automation projects
- Familiarity with customer submittal requirements and vendor documentation packages

- Compensation: This position offers a base salary range of $60,000 to $70,000, based on experience and qualifications. The role is also eligible for a variable compensation plan.
On-Site Requirements
This position requires a full on-site presence 5 days per week.
