Cad Technician

Contract position based in Longwood, FL. Anticipated to close on Aug 18, 2026.

About the role

Full-time, in-office position with a Monday through Friday schedule. This role involves preparing as-built drawings for surveyor review and signature, with a focus on water, sewer, paving, and drainage plans. Requires general construction knowledge and familiarity with county requirements for as-built drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare as-built drawings using Trimble Business Center for surveyor review and signature.
• Read and comprehend construction plans, including water, sewer, paving, and drainage plans.
• Ensure compliance with county requirements for as-built drawings.
• Perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, standing, walking, and carrying materials up to 50+ pounds.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and humidity.
• Operate safely in outdoor construction environments with changing job site conditions.

Requirements

• Experience with Trimble Business Center for preparing as-built drawings.
• Ability to read and comprehend construction plans.
• Knowledge of water, sewer, paving, and drainage plans.
• Familiarity with county requirements for as-built drawings.
• General construction knowledge.
• Intermediate-level experience.

Pay
