Job Summary
Transform initial rough product designs into detailed working documents using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Review engineering drawings and designs to ensure compliance with established specifications and standards. Incorporate construction field revisions and updates into CAD drawings. Work with and, as needed, direct or lead other team members on design projects.
Responsibilities
- Utilize MicroStation CAD software
- Experience with high voltage substation design preferred
- Become familiar with Fusion/P8 Corp document management system preferred
- Plan, accomplish goals, and solve complex tasks with extensive experience (10+ years)
- Maintain a high degree of creativity and latitude in design and problem-solving
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience with CAD software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
Skills
- Proficiency in MicroStation CAD software
- Experience with high voltage substation design
- Familiarity with Fusion/P8 Corp document management system
