CAD Librarian

Job Overview

Saronic Technologies is looking to hire a CAD Librarian to support both their electrical and mechanical engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience in drafting, electrical design, or engineering support
• 2+ years of experience as a drafter, designer, or in a CAD support role
• Hands-on experience with at least one CAD tool — electrical or mechanical
• Ability to read and interpret component data sheets
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

Austin, TX on-site required

• This is primarily an attitude and work ethic hire at the base qualification level
• Candidates who demonstrate genuine ownership of their work, curiosity about the tools and components they’re working with, and a willingness to fully commit to the librarian function — rather than treating it as a steppingstone — are the target profile
• Growth path from this role is into a draftsman position, electrical or mechanical, as the company scales
