About the role
Drafter Inc. is seeking a CAD Integration Engineer to bridge the gap between their AI platform and the CAD/PLM systems used by mechanical engineers.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance C#/.NET integrations for tools like SolidWorks and NX
- Work across the stack to ensure a seamless, consumer-grade experience for innovative hardware organizations
- Architect and develop robust CAD and PLM integrations using C# and Visual Studio
- Collaborate across the full stack, integrating RESTful APIs and WebSockets
- Conduct performance testing and optimization to ensure a smooth, interactive UX
Requirements
- 2–12 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong proficiency in C#/.NET
- Hands-on experience building and managing CAD/PLM integrations, add-ins, or connectors for platforms such as SolidWorks, NX, or Teamcenter
- Must be a U.S. citizen based in the United States
