CAD Draftsman - Port Allen, LA

About the role

The CAD Draftsman is responsible for creating detailed drawings and technical specifications for construction projects. They must have strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain accurate and detailed drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure designs meet project requirements.
• Review and update existing drawings based on client feedback and project changes.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in drafting and design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building codes and local regulations.
• Experience with Revit or similar BIM software is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
