CAD Drafter/Mechanical Designer

About the role

We are seeking a CAD/Mechanical Designer/Drafter to create and update sketches, working drawings, and contract documents using Computer Assisted Design (CAD) software. This role involves preparing 2D and 3D models and requires the ability to read and comprehend detailed customer requirements, data sheets, and supplier specifications.

Responsibilities

• Create and update sketches, working drawings, and contract documents using CAD software.
• Prepare both 2D and 3D models.
• Read and comprehend detailed customer requirements, data sheets, and supplier specifications.
• Read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Prepare documentation to support design drawings.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with drafting techniques and engineering concepts and terminology.
