CAD Drafter - Junior to Journeyman

This role supports a Navy customer in the Pax River / Lexington Park, MD area. Job Description and Responsibilities: Provide computer-aided design and drafting support. Prepare and update CAD drawings from engineering sketches and specifications.Develop technical drawings showing dimensions, materials, and procedures.Apply engineering and manufacturing concepts to drawing development.Coordinate drawing changes with engineering and technical staff. Basic Requirements: Junior: less than 3 years of experience related to the position’s duties. Journeyman: 3 to 10 years of experience related to the position’s duties. Candidates will be considered at the appropriate level based on qualifying education and experience. Education Requirements: Junior and Journeyman: Bachelor’s degree. A bachelor’s degree may be replaced by 6 additional years of relevant experience, or an associate’s degree plus 4 additional years of relevant experience. Security Clearance: Secret clearance required; interim Secret is acceptable (must be a US Citizen). Telework and Travel: Primarily on-site at contractor or Government facilities. Telework may be available based on assigned duties and company approval. Less than 5% travel. Contract: This position is pending a contract award.
