CAD Drafter

Essential Functions

• Utilize CAD software to produce detailed and accurate factory drawings from design specifications.
• Ensure drawings comply with company drafting standards, industry codes, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain document control, versioning, and archive systems for all CAD files.
• Create new drawings and update existing drawings with client and internal changes.
• Adapt, learn, and grow with the department as drawing standards are updated.

• Previous experience working with furniture manufacturing (a plus)
• Proven experience as a CAD Operator or equivalent role in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc) and a strong understanding of 2D drafting and 3D modeling
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in workmanship
• Effective communication and collaboration skills; able to work cross-functionally with team members
