Responsibilities
- Prepare clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detailed drawings from project specifications, sketches, or notes.
- Build final drawing packets based on Trachte job specifications, ensuring consistency in design standards, dimensions, scaling, and CAD operations.
- Make adjustments or changes as requested by the customer or Project Manager.
- Use CAD software (SolidWorks) and equipment to build technical drawings.
- Maintain job logs and historical references to support project tracking and documentation.
- Support a collaborative work environment that encourages pride in the product and values individual contributions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ace or bachelor’s degree in Drafting Technology, Industrial Technology, Engineering, or a related field; or a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in lieu of a degree, preferred.
- 3 years of experience working in a CAD department is strongly preferred.
- Proven understanding of SolidWorks is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and demonstrates knowledge of an ERP system.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak with groups of customers or employees of organization.
