CAD Drafter

Key Responsibilities

• Develop precise 3D CAD models and 2D drawings based on design concepts, sketches, or specifications.
• Revise and update existing drawings to reflect engineering changes.
• Work closely with engineers and designers to ensure models and drawings meet functional and manufacturing requirements.
• Maintain drawing and model documentation in accordance with company standards.
• Support prototype builds and provide accurate drawings to manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• An associate's degree in Drafting/Design, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar.
• A strong understanding of mechanical design principles, tolerancing, and technical drawing standards (including GD&T experience).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• The ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and production staff.
