About the role
The CAD Drafter is responsible for creating detailed drawings and designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software. This individual works closely with engineers and architects to translate their ideas into precise technical drawings.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain accurate technical drawings and diagrams using industry-standard CAD software.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and engineering standards.
- Review and modify existing drawings based on feedback from clients and team members.
- Ensure all drawings are up-to-date and reflect the latest changes in project requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in CAD drafting or related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of architectural and engineering principles.
- Experience with construction documents and building codes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Basic understanding of structural analysis and materials.
