CAD Drafter

Responsibilities

• Produces two-dimensional and three-dimensional construction drawings including plans, sections, elevations, details, schematics and bills of material, from models, red lines and sketches under the direction of an engineer or designer.
• Follows company or customer CAD standards.
• Scans, copies and plots drawings.
• Prepares as-built drawings based on field red-line markups.
• Drafts moderate P&IDs, PFDs, Isometrics, schematics, one-line diagrams, etc.
• Drafts moderate orthographics, annotate drawings, details, section cuts, etc.
• Drafts standard drawings, coversheets, notes and legend, etc.
• Affirms that work is completed accurately and within project deadlines.
• Completes peer reviews of drawings.

Requirements

• An Associate degree or higher in Drafting & Design, Engineering Technology or related field.
• Good understanding of AutoCAD, Acrobat or Bluebeam, Word and Excel.
• Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team with direct oversight from a senior team member.
