CAD Designer (Electrical/Civil)

Responsibilities
- Setup projects in CAD
- Cook up data sources and manage user access
- Lead the creation of drawings from conceptual through final design
- Prepare single-line diagrams, general civil plans, grading, access road layouts, drainage and stormwater management plans, utility plans, erosion and sediment control plans, and alignments and profiles for linear underground and overhead energy projects
- Provide CAD leadership and production support for project teams
- Document Project Execution Plans, conduct project kick-off meetings, handle file exports, and coordinate client deliverables
- Collaborate with a diverse team of designers, engineers, scientists, and GIS professionals across our global network
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years’ experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and/or AutoCAD Map 3D
- Advanced experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud and ProjectWise
- Knowledge and experience with civil design projects including using data from topographic surveys, DTMs, and performing grading, and utility layouts
- Proficiency with general office software (Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams)
- Ability to work independently and with various disciplines to manage multiple tasks and projects, as well as anticipate, identify, and resolve problems in a timely and positive manner
- Ideal candidates will also have PLS-CADD or ArcGIS Pro/Online Experience
- Bentley Microstation, OpenRoads, or OpenBuildings Experience
- Knowledge of Revit to Civil3D workflows
- Understanding of the energy industry
- Knowledge of project workflows from concept, detailed design, estimation, bidding, and construction documentation, administration, and support
- Autodesk Certified Professional

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $75,900.00 to $99,675.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked.
