CAD Electrical Designer

Responsibilities

• Prepare Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) design drawings to support complex facility equipment and system integrations.
• Utilizing AutoCAD Electrical software to prepare drawings to project specifications.
• Collaborates with others in discipline groups and other discipline groups on the project.
• Prepares complete information for design details that can be distributed to other design or draft personnel for completion.
• Understands project scope as presented within a specific discipline.
• Ensures designs are consistent with project technical requirements and scope.
• Works to project specifications and discipline-associated written and verbal instructions in accordance with established design practices, standards and procedures.
• Produces electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and panel layout drawings.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-5 years of experience working with AutoCAD Electrical software is required.
• Demonstrated experience with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s).
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.

Schedule

Full time, Monday-Friday, 40 hour week.
