About the role

The Counseling and Assessment Clinic (CAC) at Texas A&M University invites applications for Psychologists I through IV. Each of these roles offers a unique opportunity to accrue supervised postdoctoral experience while contributing to meaningful advances in the mental health field.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-person services to residents of the Brazos Valley
  • Interact with and mentor doctoral students in the Counseling and School Psychology programs at Texas A&M University
  • Accrue supervised postdoctoral experience required for licensures
  • Contribute to advances in the mental health field by coming to work at the CAC
  • Stay at the forefront of your professional field

Requirements

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or School Psychology, or other degree acceptable to the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists
  • One (1) year full-time supervised pre-doctoral internship in a relevant setting
  • One (1) year full-time postdoctoral clinical experience in a relevant setting
  • Five (5) years postdoctoral clinical experience in a relevant setting
  • Ten (10) years of postdoctoral clinical experience in a relevant setting
  • Eligible for licensure in the State of Texas as a Licensed Psychologist
  • Maintain licensure for continued employment

  • Ability to positively and professionally interact with clients and staff
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of office software and scoring programs

Pay

  • Psychologist I: starting at $36.06/hour
  • Psychologist II: starting at $38.65/hour
  • Psychologist III: starting at $43.34/hour
  • Psychologist IV: starting at $51.66/hour

Schedule

  • Flexible work schedule
  • To include weekend availability
