The Fort Eisenhower, Georgia PKI RA section is a fast-paced work environment and serves as the Army PKI Enterprise help desk, providing professional and courteous support to customers located throughout the supported region.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Registration Authority support to the Fort Eisenhower, Georgia, NETCOM PKI operations.
  • Support development and updating of plans and procedures in support of USHQDA PKI initiatives.
  • Support PKI tools in all network environments to ensure successful execution of PKI procedures.
  • Provide PKI token and certificate support for the Army Networks as an RA for both NIPR and SIPR requirements.
  • Manage production and issuance of NEATS and SIPR PKI Tokens using appropriate applications and peripherals provided by the Government.
  • Provide general administrative support to the execution of PKI logistics activities (e.g., controlled distribution of NIPR ALT and SIPR tokens).
  • Maintain support for creation and removal of Trusted Agents (TA).
  • Assist in the execution of TA and end user PKI training.
  • Serve as Liaison between the HQDA NETCOM, Area of Responsibility (AOR) Army TAs for the resolution of user certificate issues.
  • Utilize the central repository of PKI records specified by the Government, including records required to establish the validity of a signature and the proper operation of the PKI as specified in the Department of War (DoW) PKI Certificate Policy.
  • Maintain a daily physical logbook consisting of all RA certificate activities as specified in the DoW LRA/RA Certificate Practice Statements (CPS)/NSS Registration Practice Statement (RPS), and Department of the Army Pamphlet (DA PAM) 25-2-13.
  • Perform metric collection and reporting on selected activities directed by the Government.
  • Maintain a daily log of user assistance calls, NIPR and SIPR token and Alternate token certificate issuance, revocations, and other miscellaneous RA tasks, to be incorporated into a monthly status report.
  • Prepare and analyze data provided to the contract leadership and PKI Task Lead for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
  • Perform operational beta testing of new token versions and PKI applications and systems for certificate issuance and token reuse capabilities.
  • Maintain and update required PKI documentation and templates for various certificate issuance, revocation, and key recovery actions in appropriate existing or future SharePoint lists/databases.
  • Resolve customer issues related to PKI certificate use through basic PKI troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate and communicate PKI token/certificate issuance operations with over 700 Trusted Agents, dozens of commands throughout the US Army, Joint Services, and various regional commands throughout the AOR for NIPR and SIPR Token Issuance.
  • Support, plan, and prepare for full annual compliance audit tasks and checks.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance (must currently possess and be able to obtain Secret clearance).
  • BS and 5+ years of experience working in Information Technology, preferably including experience with DoW Public Key Infrastructure certificates.
  • Preferably 3+ years of experience on an IT service helpdesk (will consider other combinations of experience and education).
  • Security+ CE certification.
  • Work Location: Fort Eisenhower, Georgia (onsite, less than 10% travel required).

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $73,965 - $100,050.
