Cable Technician

Location: Stockbridge, MA (Western Massachusetts) – fully onsite contract position.

About the role

We are seeking two Cabling Technicians to support ongoing low-voltage infrastructure projects throughout Western Massachusetts. Technicians will pull, install, terminate, and support fiber-optic cabling installations in large commercial and institutional facilities. This is a long-term project opportunity with a growing team.

Responsibilities

• Pull and install fiber-optic cable throughout large buildings and facilities
• Support structured cabling installations including Cat5e, Cat6, coax, and fiber
• Assist with cable routing, dressing, labeling, and testing
• Perform fiber terminations and splicing as needed
• Read and follow project drawings and installation standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow OSHA and site-specific safety requirements

Requirements

• OSHA 10 Certification (required)
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift, pull, and install cable throughout the workday
• Ability to work safely on job sites

Pay

$18.00 – $34.00 per hour, based on experience.
