Cable Technician
About the role
This role involves working with low voltage cables such as CAT5/CAT6/Fiber optic cable. It is not an electrical role and does not lead to electrical hours. The typical schedule includes morning commutes to the job site and working 40-45 hours per week, with overtime being optional and voluntary.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain low voltage cables
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on industry standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with low voltage systems is preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel to job sites

Pay
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
Schedule
The role is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilmington, MA. The average day will include commuting directly to the job site in the morning and working 40-45 hours per week, with overtime being optional and voluntary. This role will convert to a permanent position at the end of the 6 month contract.
