Cable Technician

About the role

The Cable Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing cable television systems in residential and commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair cable television systems
• Perform routine inspections and tests on equipment
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience in installation and maintenance of cable systems
• Knowledge of local and state building codes

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to climb ladders and work at heights
