Responsibilities

  • Manufacture cable/harness products.
  • Read and interpret Work Instructions, schematics, wire lists, and drawings.
  • Ensure quality of the hardware is maintained, and company procedures are followed.
  • Ensure work is done with completeness, accuracy, adherence to operation sheets, ISO procedures, schedules, and assigned tasks.
  • Provide regular communication to shop leads and Work Center management on status and technical issues.

Requirements

  • One year of experience in Manufacturing Cable and Harness building.
  • High School diploma or GED and hobby/technical related experience in mechanical, composites, body work, electrical, or other dexterous activities.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, perform repetitive physical movements, and handle and assemble small parts.
  • Ability to work any shift as needed by the business.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret level clearance and Special Program Access. U.S. Citizenship required for clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Secret clearance.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Cable and Harness and ISO processes.
  • Able to read drawings and schematics.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • Experience with Assembly harnesses.
  • Ability to read wire list.
  • Cable harness braiding experience.
  • Active U.S. Government Secret level clearance and Program Access last investigated within the last 5 1/2 years.
  • Able to travel domestically on short notice up to 25% of the time.

Pay

Primary level salary range: $40,700.00 - $67,900.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
