Sr. Cabinet Maker/Builder Overview
We’re seeking a highly organized, strategic and proactive Builder to help construct complex projects across trade shows, events, spaces, and experiential activations. The Production Build Team is the internal hub for execution on fabrication of Creative, Client Services/Account Management and Production — ensuring that every project runs smoothly, teams are aligned, and no detail gets lost in the ever-changing world of production – and bringing it to life!

Duties & Responsibilities
- Helping Production Build Manager drive resource capacity for determining how many resource hours are available to schedule weekly
- Skilled in master carpentry
- Building of exhibits for trade shows, retail displays, corporate interiors, activations events, etc.
- Interpreting CAD drawings
- Conferring with designers to ensure build specifications are met
- Machining of materials
- Assembling exhibit components
- Laminating
- Basic electrical repair of existing exhibit components
- Help set up booths for client previews and dismantle/pack up once required
- Occasionally lead and work on team offsite for install & dismantle
- Use current time keeping forms and account system to maintain Storylink billing system.
Skills/Experience Required
- Ability to lift or move 4’x8’ sheet plywood
- Strong cabinet making skills
- Strong forward thinking with problem solving skills
- Effective and professional interpersonal communications
- Attention to detail and ability to document details in an orderly and effective manner
- Flexibility to thrive in an ever-changing environment
- Able to learn and add new job responsibilities on a continual basis

- Experience with building in tradeshow industry
- Install & dismantle knowledge
