About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cabinet Designer to join our team. This role is responsible for designing, quoting, and measuring cabinet projects, as well as collaborating closely with internal project managers to ensure accurate orders and smooth delivery schedules.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed cabinet designs for projects using 2020 cabinet design software
- Prepare accurate job quotes and material take-offs
- Perform on-site measurements to ensure precise design and installation plans
- Review and interpret construction and cabinet plans
- Work collaboratively with internal project managers on cabinet orders, timelines, and delivery scheduling
- Communicate design specifications and project requirements clearly across teams
- Ensure all designs meet quality standards, project requirements, and code compliance
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cabinet Designer or in a similar design role
- Proficiency with 2020 design software is required
- Ability to read and interpret cabinet and construction plans
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with cabinetry
- Knowledge of building materials, cabinet construction methods, and installation processes
- Kitchen and bath design experience: 2 years (Required)
- 2020 design experience: 2 years (Required)
