Cabinet Assembler

Responsibilities

• Build quality cabinets
• Examine specifications of work orders and/or blueprints to determine the materials and method to build the item
• Inspect all parts of the cabinet before assembly for cleanliness and flaws
• Inspect the completed item to ensure product is to specification
• Meet deadlines with attention to detail while following quality requirements
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow housekeeping requirements
• Follow company safety policies and procedures
• Sign off schedules and manage paperwork as directed
• Work independently and as a team
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Maintain a professional manner
• Follow directions provided by Leads, Supervisors, and Management

Requirements

• Experience with cabinet assembly
• Woodworking experience preferred
• Experience and ability to operate power tools
• Efficient time management skills
• Overtime is required depending on workload
• Attention to detail
• Ability to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing workmanship
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Good math skills
• Able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds individually and up to 160 pounds with a team lift
• Ability to make repetitive movements, including but not limited to bending and squatting
• High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred
