Cabinet Assembler
Job Summary
The Cabinet Assembler is responsible for constructing and assembling cabinets using various fastening hardware and woodworking tools. This role requires strong hand-eye coordination, proficiency with a range of tools, and knowledge of woodworking techniques. The assembler must be capable of interpreting diagrams and instruction manuals independently. Additionally, they are responsible for conducting a final inspection to ensure cabinets meet company standards before packaging and palletizing for shipment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assemble cabinets by accurately placing screws and bolts in designated holes to ensure structural integrity and suitability for equipment storage.
- Execute tasks meticulously and precisely to contribute to the organization's future growth and maintain quality standards.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail to identify any repair or replacement needs, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Conduct final inspections to verify the assembled cabinets meet company standards before completing wrapping and palletizing procedures.
Requirements
- 2 years of Cabinetry preferred
- 2 years of Carpentry preferred
- Proficiency in basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions effectively.
- Competence in using both hand and power tools required for cabinet assembly.
- Capability to collaborate within a team-oriented environment.
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Physical capability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Proficiency in reading a tape measure accurately.
- Familiarity with using a power drill efficiently.
