About the role

The opportunity is to join the anesthesia care team at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The team consists of 16 physicians and 35 APPs. This position offers a competitive compensation package including a $150k start date bonus, relocation assistance, and Florida licensure assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the administration of anesthesia during surgical procedures
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Prepare and administer medications as directed
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Current certification as a Certified Anesthesia Assistant (CAA)
• Experience in anesthesiology or related field preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for Florida licensure
• Must have current CPR certification
• Must be able to pass a background check
