About the role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) for Marymount Hospital. The anesthesiology team collaborates to deliver high-level patient care across various specialties.

Responsibilities

  • Obtains a comprehensive patient history and performs relevant physical exams.
  • Discusses findings and anesthetic plan with supervising anesthesiologist before induction of anesthesia.
  • Reviews patient's condition with anesthesiologist immediately prior to anesthesia induction.
  • Pre-tests and calibrates anesthesia delivery systems.
  • Administers blood, blood products, and supportive fluids.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Certifications: Certification by the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants, current valid certificate of registration, written practice protocol consistent with Ohio law, BLS and ACLS through AHA.
  • Physical Requirements: Full range of body motion, handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, eye-hand coordination, ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, push and pull supply carts up to 200 pounds, corrected vision and hearing to normal range, work under stressful conditions, exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.

Pay Range

Minimum Annual Salary: $230,000.00
Maximum Annual Salary: $299,000.00
