CA Operation Maintenance Supervisor

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operations liaison for communication and coordination of maintenance, activities (Mechanical, I/E, Analyzer, Reliability, nested/non nested contractors, and suppliers)
  • Create weekly work schedules
  • Approve/Cancel/Prioritize work request per workflow process
  • Review and monitor key performance indicator data and adjust work processes as required
  • Manage workorder backlog/remove completed workorders from tracking system
  • Vendor/Contractor/Maintenance/Operations Coordination
  • Turnaround Coordination between Operations and Maintenance
  • Implement/Schedule Equipment PMs in compliance with PSM
  • Assist Planner with procurement needs and RFQ process (Cost savings)
  • Assist Planner with job packages/Ensure proper specifications are followed
  • Implement Plant improvement through MOC Process
  • Assist with troubleshooting between Operations/Maintenance/Engineering
  • Knowledgeable of all plant specifications
  • Follow up on completed jobs to ensure work was done properly per specifications

Qualifications and Experience

  • High School diploma/GED equivalent
  • Minimum of five (5) years of manufacturing experience or equivalent military experience required. In lieu of this experience, candidates must possess an accredited Associate's degree in Chemical Process, Chemical Technology, or a recognized Chemical Process Certificate.
  • Six (6) months of supervisory experience
  • Full CA Operator certification
  • Seven (7) Years of CA experience (preferred)

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to access all plant areas
  • Use of PPE required in specific areas
  • Regularly required to push, pull, bend, and perform prolonged periods of standing and walking on cement foundations
  • Climb stairs, straight ladders, and structures, etc.
  • Occasionally required to stoop and kneel
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to coordinate the movement of eyes, hands, feet, and fingers to operate tools and equipment
  • Emergency Response Team Participation (optional). (Fire, Rescue, and Hazmat)
  • Must be clean-shaven
  • Required to be medically certified for a respirator and medically fit for duty
  • Work in all weather conditions, under emergency conditions, and for prolonged periods of time
