About the Role
The Registered Nurse III position involves providing nursing services, including direct care, assessments, care plans, and coordination of health care services. The incumbent supervises and evaluates the care provided by certified nursing assistants and interacts regularly with residents, families, medical staff, and other departments.
Responsibilities
- Provides or evaluates direct nursing care.
- Develops, implements, and/or reviews nursing care plans.
- Trains and guides individuals, families, and groups on managing their health care needs.
- Maintains professional relationships with the treatment team.
- Prepares and submits necessary records, reports, evaluations, and forms.
- Participates in and offers recommendations for quality assurance activities.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse OR a Bachelor's degree in Nursing with at least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse OR a Master's degree in Nursing.
- Possession of a Delaware Registered Nurse license OR a multi-state compact license.
