About the role
The Software Engineer position is within Regions' Technology department and involves overseeing application development, modification, and maintenance. This role requires collaboration with various technology professionals, conducting system analysis, and implementing technology solutions to resolve technical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Assists with the development and installation of new hardware and software
- Installs and configures systems and other software
- Tests installed software for malfunction detection
- Identifies and resolves business systems issues
- Designs and deploys new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operation systems
- Maintains and improves system performance
- Monitors and tests system performance
- Performs work with some independence of thought, but refers more complex problems to senior associates or supervisor/manager
- Ensures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change management practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
- Three (3) years of experience

Pay and Benefits
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors such as experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location, and performance impact pay for individual associates.
