About the role

Our skilled medical care facility (Parsons Healthcare) is seeking a caring and motivated C.N.A. Located in a gated community with 24‑hour security and free, covered parking. A current C.N.A. license is required. The Certified Nursing Aide assists residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) tasks in accordance with Department of Health and Human Services guidelines and reports pertinent information to the manager or nurse in charge. Westminster Canterbury Richmond, opened in 1975, is a premier continuing care retirement community known for its tradition of service excellence, employing approximately 650 professionals in a faith‑based, mission‑driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with completing activities of daily living based on each resident’s individual needs
• Document care provided including daily recording of resident vital signs
• Maintain resident safety and report any change in status or condition to the appropriate nurse
• Observe residents for changes in condition, mood, behavior, affect, cognition and physical changes and report to the nurse in charge and/or manager immediately
• Assist nurses in identifying problems, goals and interventions listed in the care plan and update assessment forms accordingly
• Use and adapt to new technologies, including tools, equipment, methods of application,
