C++ Acoustic Signal Processing Programmer (2694)

Duties & Responsibilities

Programming in support of the Command & Control (C2) and/or Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Platforms computer systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have a Secret Clearance, Top Secret SCI is preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in acoustic signal processing programming and mission planning processes and software.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in support of Command & Control (C2) and/or Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Platforms computer system experience to include:
    • Test and Evaluation
    • Network Protocols
    • LAN administration fundamentals
    • UNIX and Windows based operating system

Required Certification

Within 18 months of start date, must obtain the following certification: Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP), or complete a vendor/platform specific certification such as: Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Sun Certified Professional (SCP), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP).

  • Knowledge of programming languages such as: C+, C++, C#, and OpenGL
  • Discrete Representation of Signals
  • -Transform
  • Transfer Function and Frequency Response Function
  • Discrete Fourier Transform
  • Transfer Function of Models and Wave Equations
  • Statistical Models for Acoustic Transfer
  • Deconvolution and Inverse Filters
  • Linear Equations, Inverse Filters and Signal Analysis

Education Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
