About the role
The Campus Life Ministry Site Director is responsible for spiritual and organizational leadership, working with and through other people, and strong communication skills. They must embody YFC's Cultural Attributes and implement relational ministry actions to develop Authentic Christ-Sharing Relationships with young people.
Responsibilities
- Ministry Team Development (20%): Recruit, train, and maintain volunteer ministry leader team; create connections between local churches and the ministry site; provide training materials and ministry site standards; develop 3 Story teams; establish support and guidelines for healthy ministry; advocate for young people in the community; report progress and updates to YFC.
- Relational Ministry Action Development (60%): Manage, facilitate, and serve in Relational Ministry Actions; direct 3 Story Teams; establish and develop programming materials; train and evaluate ministry site leaders in curriculum materials.
- Administrative Tasks (10%): Prepare ministry and financial reports; prepare for meetings, events, clubs, etc.
- Personal Development (5%): Participate in Employee Performance Evaluation; engage in training and individual investments.
- Fundraising (5%): Nurture personal support via network; communicate with donors; participate in WMYFC’s “See the Story” and “Be the Story” process.
