BYG-1 Offsite Integration Support Tech

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience, plus 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree.
• Must have BYG-1 Experience.

Clearance Requirements:

• Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop and test to ensure the integration of software, hardware, reliability, maintainability, safety and other requirements in the total engineering effort.
• Configuring, installing and troubleshooting system hardware and software.
• Coinciding with onsite personnel to troubleshoot issues identified at offsite locations.
• Representing team’s progress and processes to non-program personnel.
• Supporting a Scrum team within an Agile development environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Analyzes results and implements procedures for problems.
• May prepare reports, documentation/specifications as required.

What We Want You To Bring To Our Team

• Ability to troubleshoot bash and perl scripts.
• Understanding of OS operation in a cross-platform environment (Linux/Windows).
• Experience cabling equipment racks to support system hardware components.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions.
• Integration support in an Agile development environment.
• Ability to travel.

What Will Set You Apart

• Certification in Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Experience with the AN/BYG-1 Combat Control System.
• Agile Development.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration.
• Knowledge of Ansible.

Pay

Target salary range: USD $82,015.00/Yr. - USD $88,743.00/Yr.
