The Role
The Buying Center Manager at Joe Myers Toyota is responsible for acquiring additional inventory for the dealership through active prospecting. This position involves engaging private parties interested in selling their vehicles, setting appointments for these individuals to visit the dealership for vehicle appraisals, and maintaining consistent follow-up to maximize appointment show rates.
Responsibilities
- Proactively source vehicle acquisition opportunities through outbound prospecting efforts
- Contact and engage private-party sellers to assess interest in selling their vehicle
- Schedule and confirm appointments for customers to visit the dealership for vehicle appraisals
- Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects to maximize appointment show rates
- Track and document prospecting activity and results
- Provide a professional and positive customer experience throughout the acquisition process
Requirements
- Sales/retail experience
- Available to work flexible hours and weekends
- Self-starter mentality and ambitious spirit preferred
- Phenomenal communication skills with customers and team members
- Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
