Buyer - (Temporary Position) - Specialty Rental - Powerhouse - Delanco

About the role

Support procurement operations within our steam business, ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and components. You will report to the VP Steam Operations.

Responsibilities

• Utilize MRP/ERP and issue the majority of company purchase orders for the shop/engineering/service, including consumables and MRO products
• Manage the warehouse for storage of rental fleet spares, including the warehouse clerk
• Resolve and assist Accounts Payable with invoice discrepancies
• Review and issue Change Orders as needed
• Track and maintain acknowledgements, purchase orders, and incoming goods
• Ensure all materials are on-time; adjust purchase orders and report late deliveries

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience working as a buyer
• Ability to manage and resolve internal and external issues and questions
• Ability to manage changes as needed or as directed
• Builds and maintains effective relationships
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to sit for long periods of time, utilize a cell phone, and use a company-provided laptop
• Strong verbal and email communication skills
• Good understanding of Microsoft 365

Schedule

Monday - Friday with flexible start times. The length of this assignment is 3 - 6 months.

Location

On-site at our office in Delanco, NJ, United States (US). This role requires face-to-face collaboration.
