Buyer Sourcing

About the role

This role supports the Supply Chain Management (SCM) career stream within the Purchasing department. The position is located in the Americas region, specifically in Texas, Northlake.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships
• Manage sourcing processes and negotiations
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
• Support inventory management and logistics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in sourcing and procurement
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

• Knowledge of global sourcing methodologies
• Experience with ERP systems and supply chain software
• Understanding of industry best practices in sourcing and procurement
