Non-exempt position; overtime paid at 1.5× base rate for hours over 40 per week (or as required by state/local law).

About the role

Purchase and establish tooling, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, or services necessary for the operation of the establishment. Responsible for buying goods and services for company use. This role analyzes and maintains purchasing and quality data—including purchase orders, quotations, invoices, source catalogs, material rejection/disposal reports, tooling records, supplier data, and measurements—and implements local or regional sourcing strategy under the direction of management and experienced Procurement specialists.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from category buyers, issue RFQs to suppliers, and analyze total cost of ownership (TCO).
• Present cost/quality analysis to Leadership.
• Collaborate with engineering for technical reviews.
• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, and other relevant factors.
• Purchase the highest-quality merchandise at the lowest possible price and in correct quantities.
• Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services.
• Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve issues related to undelivered goods.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, or a related business field.

Pay

$25.00 – $26.00 per hour.
