About the Role

Manatee Memorial Hospital (MMH) in Bradenton, Florida, has served the citizens of Manatee, Sarasota, and surrounding counties for over 70 years and has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval. The 295-bed hospital, with over 800 physicians, residents, and allied health professionals, offers advanced healthcare services in a caring and compassionate environment. Services include cardiac care, emergency care, surgery (including robotic-assisted surgery), orthopedic services, radiology, rehabilitation, respiratory care, sleep and oncology care, wound care, and women’s and children’s services. MMH also features a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and the only Pediatric Center hospital-based outpatient multidisciplinary pediatric therapy center in Manatee County.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily acquisition of supplies, stock, and non-stock items using the requisition system (HSS) and follow contracted GPO Premier for purchases for the assigned department.
• Responsible and accountable for the purchase of supplies and equipment.
• Assist physicians and staff with supply requests.
• Maintain inventory par levels, check expiration dates, and prepare for annual inventory.
• Demonstrate Service Excellence at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of supply chain or applicable experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Vocational/Technical School/Diploma, Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or Master’s Degree (preferred).
