Buyer/Procurement Analyst

The SEMAC organization has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Professional dedicated to the acquisition of materials for multiple MFC programs and locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, performance specification, commercial, and build-to-print subcontracts for DOD programs for specific and miscellaneous electrical hardware.
• Prepare bid packages, analyze and evaluate proposals, select or recommend subcontractors, perform price analysis, and handle subcontract/PO documentation and placement.
• Reconcile invoices and negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
• Work with program personnel and other areas of the business.
• Manage commodities with moderate complexity and a high volume of purchase requisitions.
• Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontracts in support of development, production, and global sustainment for multiple contract types.
• Conduct bidders' conferences, develop evaluation criteria, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions, select or recommend subcontractors, write subcontract packages for review, prepare awards, and administer resulting subcontracts.
• Participate with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures.
• May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
