Responsibilities
- Purchase and maintain adequate inventory levels to ensure medication and supply availability.
- Carefully coordinate annual physical inventory, minimum stock levels, and proper assignment of cost accounting codes.
- Ensure the Pharmacy department at our hospitals and clinics provides outstanding pharmaceutical knowledge and services to our patients and their families.
Qualifications
- High school or equivalent.
- Current Hawai'i Pharmacy Technician registration.
- One (1) year pharmacy purchasing or three (3) years pharmacy technician experience in a health care setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
- Inventory management experience.
