Essential Job Functions

• Cook up supplier releases for all Component Suppliers to meet manufacturing schedules and customer demands
• Track Supplier delivery performance / expedited freight occurrences
• Conduct routine/non-routine meetings with Supplier Representatives for business/issues review
• Resolve invoicing/receipt issues between suppliers and Accounting
• Escalate supplier issues to Supply Chain Manager as necessary
• Review and update system parameter parts for material planning purposes
• Procure materials from various internal and external suppliers to support the sales operations of the business
• Sustain a balance of inventory to ensure low valuation while maintaining the highest possible fill rate
• Utilize system to analyze material requirements and sales trends to place orders
• Analyze and adjust inventory levels for safety stocks, excess inventory, obsolete parts, supersessions and item replacements
• Support management of vendor performance and conduct reviews and periodic meetings to address unresolved issues and areas of improvement
• Provide detailed forecasts to internal and external vendors to relay accurate insight to future business needs
• Maintain an eye on Customer backorders and unfilled customer shipments to resolve open issues with parts
• Review Customer forecasts to relay any future potential delays and adjust vendor forecasts for necessary changes
• Relay internally and externally supplier and customer shortages
• Review and resolve supplier ASN issues
