Responsibilities
- Negotiate annual agreements.
- Plan and monitor inventory levels.
- Follow established procedures, practices and policies to contact vendors, obtain quotations.
- Examine bids, make awards, place orders and expedite delivery of goods/services.
- Exercise judgment and working knowledge of materials and sources of supply to make purchase at a price consistent with quality, quantity, and scheduling requirements.
Requirements
- Knowledge of MRP systems (Oracle EBS / ASCP preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in supplier negotiation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of manufacturing purchasing experience.
