Key Responsibilities
- Direct suppliers and internal teams to support development of complex systems.
- Prioritize and execute program requirements to meet stakeholder needs.
- Draft and issue RFPs/RFQs, perform price analysis, and develop negotiation strategies.
- Create and manage diverse contract types, including long-term agreements and sourcing partnerships.
- Own the end-to-end procurement cycle from requisition to invoice payment, resolving issues promptly.
- Lead strategic agreement initiatives, negotiating, executing, and managing LTAs.
- Align procurement activities with organizational strategy to achieve corporate goals.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials on budget while meeting technical performance standards.
- Apply FAR regulations and procurement best practices to all transactions.
- Negotiate and manage multiple contract types such as FFP, T&M, CPFF, and CPIF.
- Analyze data, establish metrics, and track performance to drive continuous improvement.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field with 5+ years of supply chain experience.
- Master’s degree in related field with 3+ years of supply chain experience.
- Proven experience managing suppliers and procurement processes.
- Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
- Experience negotiating and managing contracts including FFP, T&M, CPFF, and CPIF.
- Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards.
- Ability to analyze data, establish, and track program metrics.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload.
- Experience working in ambiguous environments and balancing priorities.
- Understanding of engineering data such as specifications and source control drawings.
